I was born in Bogota, Colombia, and lived there until I was 11. I then moved to the United States and grew up in Chicago.  I am happily married and have three children, which is the most important aspect of my life. However, I strongly believe in finding a balance in all I do. Some of the things I most enjoy including spending time with family and friends, learning, studying topics of interest, reading, running, hiking, participating in 10K/Sprint Triathlons and traveling.

• Postgrado en Educación Bilingüe de la Institución Universitaria Colombo Americana en Bogotá, Colombia la cual está acreditada como una Maestría en Educación.
• Trabajé durante cinco años en el Colegio Nueva Granada
• Certificado de Consultor Educativo Independiente del Programa de Extensión de la Universidad de California en Irvine.
• Certified Trainer for Heart Math Institute
• Certified Transpersonal Psychology

I am currently researching which association to join and plan to begin working on becoming a Certified Educational Planner.  Since having my children, I discovered that one of my passions is reading and learning anything regarding education. I love working with young adults in this formative part of their lives helping them decide which steps to take for their future.
